T-shirts

Reading the "che" thread made me think about t-shirts.
Most t-shirts effectively advertise something, somebody, some attitude, whatever. Wearing one makes a statement - "I suppoert this messsage". (or, sometimes, as you'll see in a moment, "I'm wearing this cos someone gave it to me").
So what are you wearing (if a t-shirt - though I suppose badges count too)?
I wish I'd thought to start this topic when I was wearing something cooler - I have an "American Folk Art" t-shirt of a strangely-shaped cow by Warren Kimble on. This is because Fairview lake YMCA got a bulk discount on them and it's what my daughter used as the basis for her "present for Daddy" tie-die t-shirt she made while there.
No, it's lovely, really.

I'm wearing a t-shirt with a skull and cross bones on the front, and in big letters underneath "Got Poison?"
On the back, it says the same thing, but also gives the phone number for the Cleveland Poison Control Center hotline. Then has the logos of all the area Cleveland hospitals.
I bought it at a thrift store for $3. It fucking rules.

I'm wearing my "Your hide will make a fine poncho!" shirt.
Look up Basic Instructions. It's great. Unofficially endorsed by Scott Adams.

I'm wearing a T-shirt that says "I ran for the future!" and it has a large picture of a brain with legs running on it, in a green outline. It's from a funrun that I never did; I bought it from goodwill.

Today I'm wearing a T-Shirt that says "Butch's Car Wash" in big 70s era font, with bubbles rising up the shirt. It was the t-shirt uniform of everyone who worked at said establishment back in the 70s. (The shirt also identifies the town and state where said car wash is)
I bought it at a thrift store for $1. It completely fucking rules.
(I can get away with it, cause I'm using it as an undershirt, underneath a rather heavy blue button down Oxford. And with a tie on, no one can tell that I'm actually a secret agent from Butch's Car Wash, and not the stooge I actually am)

Today I'm wearing one of my many comic-book related t's. It's a rather moody red and black number with a grim-loooking Daredevil.

I am availing myself of a red one declaring "toro" multiple times, many pictures of bulls in various aggravated poses, and signed barcelona on the bottom.
Guess where I got it.

i'm wearing this shirt

i kid you not. i wore it specifically today so the chick who sits next to me in my intro to print journalism class who has a che button on her backpack would see it

. it was an extremely satisfying; when she saw me, she said 'hey nice shirt, what's it say?"
the look on her face after she read it was delicious

tee-hee.
I used to mock a girl I knew who often wore a che t-shirt, but had literally no idea who he was - she'd just seen the t-shirt on on other people she considered cool. She was known as "Che" for some while. I have no idea now what her real name was.
