So yeah, my regular doubles partner and I play lots on all sorts of maps, always sequential, flat rate.
But one of our games, I accidentally made it freestyle. Is there anything major I should look out for? I've never played these settings before.

Try to make your moves at the same time. It is a good strategy for freestyle.

let's just say this... that person who said it was cheating in the game is a retard.
A freestyle game is defined as allowing all players to play at the same time. How can you play freestyle and not play at the same time? Have one person begin, end in one minute, another person play for one minute, then another? That is just stupid. It is called sequential.
Keep using this strategy for all sakes. I don't play freestyle because I am not fast and therefore can't play it well. That is the point of it, so I sacrifice that part of the site rather than try to make everyone as slow and bad at it as I am by accusing those strategies as cheating, and accusing people with clickies as cheating.
