Cops Taser Man at His Dad's Funeral

http://news.aol.com/article/cops-taser- ... 1200867396It happened as the coffin was being loaded into a hearse. The officers planned to quietly arrest pallbearer Gladwyn Taft Russ III, The Star-News of Wilmington reported Wednesday.
Russ, 42, had failed to surrender after being charged with threatening his ex-wife who lives in another state, officials said. Following his father's death Nov. 11, Russ agreed to surrender after the funeral.
I'm not sure what to say. Except, why didn't they wait? Or AT LEAST be a little more subtle?

Yeah, that could have gone much better.
But at least the cop admitted that he was wrong, which is rare for police, and apologized for the way he handled the arrest.

A friend of mine actually asked to be tasered to see what it was like. The kick is, is that it was on the ass.

wow. The Sheriff Deputy's Office asserts that they did everything by the book... The Anarchists Cook book, apparently.
