Today, in the traditions of most cultures around the world, was my last day as a "child".
Tomorrow is my 18th birthday. When the sun rises, I'll be an adult.

Now I know how these work. I probably won't feel any different after just one night.
All it means is that I'll be able to buy alcohol, vote for the next faceless government, and take part in those stupid day-time television competitions.

So it's goodbye to the old me, and hello to the new me, same as the old me. I really wouldn't want it any other way.

You're not grown up until , if YOU don't pay the bills, they turn off your electricity, take stuff away, or kick you out on the street.

I did snatch just over £450 from the day, which is ironic since that's the most I've ever recieved at one point, and we're in the middle of a credit crunch.
