Isn't the point everyone writes in their addition, so that soka doesn't have to do all of the editing? That way if you want to make a change, all you have to do is get the picture of the last post.....
Also, it might make more sense to fill in expanding from where it starts rather than claiming positions, which might make it impossible to finish

No no no, if you start filling in random ones, how will we ever finish it? It's going to be pretty hard to find a 6 letter word composing of a "J" "Q" "I" "L" and "2"...

No, but moving a white square over a bit is fine.
Besides, it's too late to change it now. Other words have been built off it.
