And finishing up my remaining games then calling it quits here. Haven't won a game in some time, and I have only been able to post mundane stuff at the best of times for some months now. I'll probably be on for the next week or so, but really only to finish up my last games. I did have some fun here, and enjoyed getting to know some people here, and others, not so much. And after over 14,000 posts, and a year in half, and spamming worse then Spamalot ever did at one point (for you older members), this will be one of my last posts.

Already received 1 pm about this being new, but it isn't. I have been contemplating this off and on for the past few months, and yes, it is about time for me to retire. I have already resigned from the majority of the groups I was in, and only a small handful remain for one reason or another for the time being.

Sorry to hear this, sad news indeed.

I say just use the time to wrest, like a few months or so and when you come back it will be a fresh new start, just leave for a bit and see how you feel.

You will be missed if you really are gone for good. Have a good life and all that. Hope you come back to visit occasionally.

I'm almost up to my first anniversary here, and a string of lost games has busted me down by abour 400 points in a few weeks, after a long slow recovery from a previous string of losses. I understand how it becomes discouraging.
But I've given up joining new games for lent.
(I usually give something up for lent, even though I'm not a religious type - it's a good discipline).
I'll be looking for a new string of victories afeter the spring break.

Sad to see you go, MTG. All good things must come to an end and I can understand getting burnt out by this place. However, I think after a long break you'll be back someday. Good luck and sorry for giving you such a difficult time about your home state for all these months

There are a few, but no high ranks to my knowledge. no surprise there... I've found that the game gets old alot faster when your premium with bunches of games going. maybe try a new map with diffrent settings to liven it up?
