Mixed Doubles – Ordina Open

The Ordina Open is part of the professional tennis tour and takes place in the Netherlands from 14th – 20th June.

This tournament will therefore take place on the Netherlands map. Each round will be the best of 3 sets.

This is a Doubles tournament, with 8 teams (16 players in total).

Each team must be a mix of doubles experts and (relative) novices. One player in each team must have no more than a bronze medal for doubles (any other medals ok) and have < 2000 pts.

All players must join as a team.

Freemiums welcome- although 3 games-at-a-time.

Details:
This will be a straight knock-out (bracket).
All rounds will be best-of-three sets (games).
Map and settings: Netherlands – doubles (obviously), sequential, no spoils, chained & fog of war.
Players
There will be 16 players.

One player in each team must have no more than a doubles bronze medal and have < 2000 pts at the time of signing-up.

Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemiums welcome, although beware that the tournament starts as soon as we have enough players and 3-games-at-a-time if you get to the finals.

Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).
Reserves
All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.
Joining Matches
Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
I'll play with Maroon Beret, his score is about 1000 at the moment and has no double medal.

Is it allowable for a team to enter in which both members have not received a bronze doubles medal and both have <2000 points? or must one be an expert...?

Delving and I (Beinion) have won our games 3-0... srry, don't know how to post links...

btw, Dj Telfon, doesn't your own team violate the rules you set down? Personally, I couldn't care less... but others might...
