Yes, it's really me, though as you can see I was relatively a youngster then.
It was a publicity shot for Cyrano de Bergerac. I didn't get to play the fellow with the large conk, or even to play Ragenau (the cook) which I really wanted to do, but I did get a couple of minor parts. There are over 90 parts in the play, so most of us played at least two roles. Mrs Curl (though we weren't going out then, indeed she was still married to someone else) was one of the directors.
