I don't understand how the point deductions work for a lost game.
If you look at Game 5090140, I was the last man standing against the eventual winner, yet I got the most points taken away from me.
Furthermore, Brooklin missed many, many turns, and eventually got kicked for his/her missed turns, yet he/she got the least amount of points deducted for the loss.
In my opinion the person who stays in the game the longest, should get the least amount of docked points, and a player who gets kicked from a game should get docked the most.
As it is, if a player thinks they are going to lose, they could just deadbeat it, grt kicked, and lose the least popints.
Please illuminate me!
Thanks.

How many points you lose is determined by your current rank vs. the winner of the game. The higher ranked you are vs. your opponents rank...the more you lose. That's why if u lose to a cook u lose alot of points say 32 as compared to losing to a captain and losing maybe 10

Thanks for the info...I still think a player should be penalized a certain amount of points for getting kicked due to missed turns.
The player Brooklin seems to deadbeat a lot judging by the comments on his/her wall and will likely keep doing it unless penalized in some way.
Once again thanks for the timely response.

Most habitual deadbeaters wind up on foe lists, get poor ratings.
As for the "getting more point for being last". Some tournaments run that way. Personally, I dislike it because being last doesn't mean you are better at all. Often time it just means no one thought you were the biggest threat, so they left you be for the time. Sometimes that can work to your advantage, but who goes out first or last is hardly a representation of relative skill.
If you play Terminator, then you get credit for each kill, rather than "all or nothing", but the play also differs for that reason.

I hadn't thought about it loke that but I agree.
The point distro keeps high ranking players from sniping low ranking players...makes sense now, thanks.

I wondered the same thing when I first joined.
OliverFA is running a tourney
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=80877 based on the idea you proffered. The winner of the game gets 8 points, the person to get eliminated last gets 7 points, next person 6 and so on and so forth.
It would be a neat setting for games. Maybe you should suggests it in suggs and bugs!
