Aren't you the guy that regularly and systematically berates players?

Way to keep it on topic and in case I forget; very clever response. To answer your question; very much so in the past; hence the word "past". I guess I saw the light unlike a lot of people including you mate. Also, if this was some inane attempt of a flame and/or bait, keep practicing. Point out something that most don't already know or in other words, be original. Feel free to repost if you have anything of relevance to share regarding this topic.

I guess it was. Good thing I have the option of deleting a PM without ever reading it. I'd say owen lost the privilege of private conversation when he decided that he and his adorably sad little minions were going to spend 2011 talking shit at every opportunity (well, in between forum bans) about a guy who may not be perfect, but who I consider a friend and a valued clanmate. I'd prefer not to read PMs from someone who comports himself with the decency of a methhead eight-year old.

I'd also like to again point out that this sort of thread simply would not be tolerated if it was about anyone other than Blitz. It makes me wonder which member of the GD moderation team has an axe to grind, and why this hypothetical person would let personal feelings get in the way of doing their job. Or perhaps one or more mods have a conflict of interest because they're in the same clan as Blitz's Ankle-Biter-In-Chief and thus feel that it's more important to pay fealty to their leader than to actually, again, do their job. Just a bit of food for thought.

I wish I could recommend ignoring this thread, but if I were in your position and Blitz were my friend, I'd probably end up fighting fire with fire and get myself banned. Your poise is admirable.

i thought everyone knew that Squishy was my multi (talk to nightstrike about that) or maybe you mean nagerous... hmmmm.... that bit of your post is about as conspiracy as conspiracy gets... -el Jesus negro

p.s.-you can't have it both ways... you can't try to bait me with comments about being oft banned and then claim i have team CC in my pocket... *giggle*

p.p.s.-i was banned for 3 months and a thread existed that entire time, and still does, which berated, baited and flamed me without mercy. this thread is on topic and valid.

I like to point out hypocrisy. I do miss your tirades. They were very entertaining.

Carry on berating and/or defending...

Well, this thread has served my purposes. Thanks for voting, and carry on with whatever.

License to derail has been granted; just be nice and don't take things too seriously.

and what purpose was that? i assume someone has threatened you over this thread. i find this thread very fascinating... it is really interesting to see the different perceptions of people about a cheating conqueror... even with the massive C&A threads, he still has disciples that believe it was all fabrication and a public execution due to public opinion. he got off easy and nobody will ever know the extent of what he did, and i doubt CC really wants to KNOW what he did... it is an all around sad case...-el Jesus negro

Which is why it's old news mate. It's over, dealt with and discipline rendered. Owen, you and I both know, based on the title alone, this would turn into a flame on Blitz, no question. The facination of this guys past by others amazes me. Is it now practice to bring up old cases, discuss what was done or not done and further say how things were fair or unfair? If so, wow, do the c/a mods have mountains of cases to re-think. What happened anyway between you and blitz mate? You guys used to be a regular team, no? If this was any other player, this topic would be dead and never brought up; since it's blitz, why is this different? Owen, you had your share of discipline issues, some of which you obviously disagree with, should others rekindle your cases? Of course not; what's in the past should stay there.

It was a sad case. He cheated and abused the system. He also served double jeopardy. Yes he got 2 punishments. But what is the saddest thing is that other peeps endlessly harp on it...

Move forward.

Economics and Morality:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=159524&start=15#p3494395

People's perceptions on previously glorified cheaters (e.g. disillusionment, apathy, self-confidence, etc.):

Then handling lame attempts at baiting, while joking around.

Entertaining conclusion on the CC forum mindset:

"...66% of the people of CC take CC drama way too seriously."

And finally, to see how people interact with each other over the interwebz. It's just entertaining, serious, and frivolous all at the same time. It's truly amazing to me.

No one's threatened me. I got what I came for, and I wanted the thread to simmer down because it was getting unnecessarily hostile.

Nevertheless, I'm glad you had fun ITT, and we should all be proud of ourselves for having this type of thread not get locked after 8 pages. Good job, team.
