There are too many to pick one, the best in my opinion are the shot heard round the world in '51, Larsens perfect game in the world series, George Brett's homer off Gossage. oh yeah and every year that the Red Sox didn't win because they have the worst fans in the world, if you spend more time chanting "Yankees suck" than you do "Go Red Sox" then you have a problem, and that goes for anyone who says they are a Yankee hater, so much wasted energy. Oh yeah, I'm not a Yankees fan either, I'm an Indians fan, I just think its stupid to hate one team especially when they have such a good legacy and ball club. Now I'm not saying you can't root against them, of course I'm gonna root against them if they are playing the Indians or maybe another team with a player that I like a lot, but hate is such a strong word, and when I have these so called yankee haters explain themselves to me they just sound like poor sports or cry babies. I went to a game at Fenway because I've always wanted to go there, it was Red Sox vs Blue Jays, and I must have heard the "Yankees suck" chant at least 10 times throughout the game, it was stupid, the only time you hear "Red Sox Suck" at Yankee Stadium is when they are playing the Red Sox because Yankees fans are not losers. haha

Fuckin' A. Best moments in that ALCS.... Dave Roberts stealing second in game 4. A-rod slapping the ball out of Arroyo's glove, and Johnny D's grand salami to get game 7 rolling right (I can't stand what he's become, but I loved him back then)...

(They're the only team in the history of BASEBALL to do that. It's happened in hockey and basketball a few times. )

1988 World Series - Game #1: Dodgers vs. A's

Nobody could get a hit off of Dennis Eckersley, right? I mean the guy just never loses in a save situation. So, it's the 9th inning, and Tommy Lasorda puts in Kirk Gibson to pinch-hit. Are you kidding me!! Gibson is injured and nobody thinks he can even play. Well, here he comes. This should be an easy out and game #1 goes to Oakland.

CRACK!! - HOME RUN!!

The Dodgers win the game! Lasorda is running out onto the field (I can't remember Lasorda running prior to or after that). Gibson is running the bases and pumping his fist.

Awesome moment that I will never forget.

I also ignore those illegal steroid-users Mark McGuire and (maybe) Sammy Sosa. So that means the Home Run King is ROGER MARIS
