Good win for the Sabres. They sure tried to blow it though, 2 goals in under 2 minutes, end of the second period. Then in the third, the Sens just dominated them until the end. But I'm glad to see them win one. Still, obviously this is Ottawa's series to lose.

The NHL is dying. Slowly, painfully, dying. Just accept it.

I disagree. The NHL might need to contract at some point, yes. (Unfortunately the powers are talking of expanding, which is just insane) The NHL in the USA is a niche sport, always has been, always will be. It'll do well in markets such as Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, New York and Boston. Other smaller markets will do well if the team is good (case in point, Anaheim, Carolina, Tampa). Hockey in Canada is king, it's the national sport. Here, most people aren't fans. Those that are though, like myself, like hockey, and we'll always be here. Hockey will never be huge in the USA, but that's fine. Hockey should concentrate on making it's current fans happy, and not worry about attracting new fans.

Sadly thats the same for other sports in the US, if it was not formed here then fans don't like it as much, which is very sad. Mind you this is not for ever single sport, but for a good many.

yeah, I'd agree with that pretty much

Game 4, 9:00 pm EST. I think Detroit wins 3-1. I also say Detroit scores first, and in the first. But I've been wrong many a time. :D

I will shock some people here.......................(be ready)...........................I pick the Red Wings to beat the ducks score ummmm, 2-0. Reason was all in game three, at the Ducks home none the less, a score of 5-0, that is just stupid. Also, Hasek is just a darn good person between the pipes, and he has proven to hold his own in the playoffs.

I would like to see the ducks score at least once, but the way they played and the way Hasek is as a keeper, I just don't see that.

And don't forget, it was 5-0 with Pronger. Pronger is out, Jackman is in, and they'll give a ton more minutes to Huskins and Dipenta... could be another embarassing night for the Duckies.

Anyone else care to place what the score is going to be.

Serbia said 3-1 Red Wings

I said 2-0 Red Wings and I may just say, 6-0 Red Wings, they are a good team in the playoffs.

I will get over it and my Av friends will forgive me in 10 years for saying that, I am only looking at talent here.

I'll predict the Red Wings win 3-1.

EDIT: oh wait, Serbia said that already. I'll make it 3-2 then.

Ok so we have it at 3 for the Red Wings 0 for the Ducks.

By the way, were in Colorado are you from MountainLion? Pardon me if you said before, I just did not check to see where.

Not so. What Serbia said was right, the way the Avs have been playing there is no rivalry between the Red Wings and the Avs, we still can hate them from an Avs fans point of view (like mine). But they are just playing better.

I have never been to Michigan.

I've gots Detroit, 2-1, mostly because Pronger is out. Also, I think the ducks are gonna turn it around and make it look respectable this game.

But I'm probably waaaaay off on this one.

Ok, thats 4 for the Red Wings and 0 for the Ducks.

Is anyone going to say something for the Ducks, or are you all staying low.

Well the Ducks won, mmmm, not at all what I was guessing.

5-3, mmm, I guess we can say none of us were right.

Next Game in the West in Det.

Any shocked fans?

What do you call the game tommorow will be? Will Ottawa take the Eastern Conf.?

I say Ottawa 2-1 OT.

My prediction was biased. I never expected the Ducks to be easily beaten on any given night. This is a hell of a series.
