I see this poster all around Boston. Will anyone tell me how the hell this makes any sense at all? Try to make a logical argument fellas.

On second thought...just dont even tell me at all, I don't wanna hear it. Whenever I pass people holding up these signs on the street I just laugh to myself...alright, there was one occasion where I laughed out loud at one of them. He gave me the stink eye.

But could you explain how those who make such a comparison became so divorced from reality........cheeseburger overdose ?

One would think that, thegreekdog, but I feel that most Americans weren't bombarded with enough propaganda to pick Stalin as quickly as they would Hitler. It's interesting how much more hate is focused on Hitler than on Stalin. Didn't Stalin directly and indirectly kill more civilians? Yes. But were those civilians as loud as the one's Hitler killed? No.

That may explain one side to it.

What may help Uncle Joe's image somewhat is that the Soviet's contributed much in winning WW2 for the Allied Forces, while Hitler was just completely unhelpful on that whole issue...

Or maybe the Stalin-Obama poster just doesn't look as cool. (<----My pick)

Technicalities were invented at McGill University in 1943, which was Stalin's planned year to invade Germany. You're completely right, Hitler was very helpful in WW2. In the first place, starting the war was probably the most helpful.

Armed with somewhat antiquated guns and white battle skirts, the Greeks put up a mighty stiff resistance.

I've gotta give it to ya; the Greeks are too underrated. I think they are the world's real superheroes, which were probably based on the Greek gods and goddesses.
