play on the age or realms magic map a bit and you will see why these deferred armies are a plus to that person who misses a turn for fortification purposes. and use in a doubles game it can be far worse.

thats a great idea but when its that early in a game you can't break the bonus. it would be better to not allow this to be used as a ploy to win a game.

I believe that the deferred deployment is a great idea and saves some troubles. But, I have seen people take advantage of missed turns and have their total bonus be deferred if they miss a turn and would like to see this changed. Skill and number of played on the freestyle maps both play into consideration. If your good enough to win them, even 40% of the time your rank will go up fast unless your already at the top then that % climbs a bit.
