From the discussion so far I can not see this happening in any manor other than a two score board system. I think two score board system will break down just the same as the current system is proposed to have. The board of interest will be the all time board (where someone will be 10000 points ahead ...

Part of Hawaii's problem was their success in the past against big teams looking to pad the numbers against "easy teams" went out to Hawaii and lost. It does not mean this Hawaii team is or is not good; we just don't know. The last place I want to tune in and find out if a team is good is a BCS game ...
