Has the possibility of friendlies been pitched before?

I have friends who also play on CC and, while I'd like to play with them, I don't especially want to put my hard-earned points on the line, especially against those who aren't at the same pts level as myself.

7 games (1 triple and 6 doubles) has furnished me with 0 wins and a grand tally of -145pts.

I detest them beyond my ability to express in English (or Japanese, which I also speak) and now refuse to play them.

If it isn't pitiful placement it's deadbeating ...

Many good players, like Scorba, Belzbub, #U, etc. But I still think the old Weidsun was the best one... 3 of his 4 multis were top-5 in the scoreboard (the last one was 14th, or sort of), and he almost never played team games (still reached 2300 points). I have never entered an alliance and never will.

Allying, for whatever reason, strikes me not only as irredeemably underhand but it geniunely detracts from the enjoyment of the game for all concerned.

I would hesitate to leave negative feedback if a player did ally in any game I played but I ...

Africa, Brazil and Germany (I think of them as in a similar class) are all nice maps.

Classic, on the other hand, is one of my least favourites for three reasons:

1 - I don't think it's especially well-balanced.

2 - It is UGLY!

3 - I'm sick to death of it. Bar the board, I'm not playing ...

Well, perhaps my lamentation of no players for Circus M. did the trick because 4 people joined since my last post. Mind you, I'm the only player without a red question mark next to my name, so perhaps they have yet to learn the truth...

As far as favourites go, I'm a big fan of Middle Earth ...

I can't say that I've played a map that I loathe (admittedly, I haven't played all) but it seems that there is an unspoken consensus on CC that the existence of Circus Maximus is resented by all.

Due to all you naysayers I can't even play it to find out why it's disliked.
