Suggestion: shaded empires

This may well have been considered before and I don't know whether it's possible to do.

Have territories you control transparently shaded in your colour, just as we see, for example, empires on historical maps. It could be optional. I think this would add to the sense of expansion and retreat.

Yes, if you left 3 units on you'd lose 2 - as a Russian winter would. Great, thanks for clearing that up.

Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]

Well nothing turned up in the search so here's the question. Hold Russia, bonus 5. But to hold all Russia, you'll be holding winter territories - minus 2. Ergo 5-2=3. Tell me it isn't so.

I'm bored and I have time to kill.

Here's a list of games where there were truces and subsequently broken.

Invasion of the Truce-Breakers

I've noticed a growing pattern of truce-breaking in games recently, and I see a parallel in my professional life. The culprits are millennials whose approach to life is generally based on me, me and me. Truces, and in real-life agreements - to pay or to complete tasks, attend meetings etc. are ...

Couldn't have put it better myself Cruxader, diligently done! As I said in the chat, these two need to either be upfront about their relationship and/or shared accounts, or just play team games. Innocently both Cruxador and I thought we were taking part in a good, fair game, although the odd chat ...

Re: Nola_Lifer and Rob Mc

If this case is only pertaining to game 3939007, they have already been issued a warning about this game. We can consider Rob Mc and Nola_Lifer on a very short lease from being blocked together.

I doubt this will stop there activity in games together. Maybe they wont be dumb enough to publicly ...

Re: Imperium Romanum [Quenched]

But a player should have a big advantage in holding Rome, Rome should be worth fighting for, that would be more historically accurate. And so you would have a game that was different in two ways - the city states bonus, and the ultimate city state bonus - very interesting.

Re: Imperium Romanum [Quenched]

I like this map, i like the idea of controlling the cities rather than territories, it makes a change. One suggestion though, as Rome is the centre of the empire both administratively and symbolically, it should be a MUCH bigger prize to gain and hold. I'd say you should get a bonus of say, 4 to ...
