Classic Art Map?

What happened to the Classic Art Map? Why did it have to go?

I have started a thread in suggestions to bring it back (or something as close to it as possible). I think a lot of players don't like the dots and lines on the current board.

Re: Classic map

Yes CLASSIC ART that was the good board! I forgot its name. So I meant Classic Art every time I said classic shapes, sorry.

Bring back Classic Art! I bet that would be easy to do.

EDIT: I have posted a suggestion to bring back the Classic Art map. Please go to suggestions and post your endorsement ...

Re: Classic map

Yes, Donkey, I get it. I admire your perspective on the classic map as much as your taste in avatars. Perhaps we are the beginning of a grass roots movement to bring back an alternate classic game board.

You're right, we can still conquer, but I would much rather conquer a bunch of rectangles than ...

Re: Classic map

True, classic shapes isn't going to win any beauty contests...but my point is that the current classic map is a graphic design failure, and difficult to look at. The dots and lines are unbearable, and they render the lovely map underneath irrelevant. The map image might as well be a picture of ...

Classic map

Is it possible to play on the old classic shapes map, or is the current Classic map the only one available?

EDIT: Classic Art is what I meant to say. Classic shapes was terrible. This thread is about the Classic Art map. I have put a suggestion in to bring it back. Please go to suggestions and post ...

banned player

When a player is banned, can he finish the games he is already in?

Are all bans the same, or do conditions vary?

Re: Ratings Reloaded - Community Consultation

The old feedback system was funny, interesting and informative. A self-managing organic apparatus. The detail and nuance it communicated can not be achieved with a number system.

Start A Game: move order

I'm sure this question has been asked, but I couldn't find it.

I have started two private games. My name appears at the top of the list followed by the others in the order they join. Game starts and the first guy to join moves first followed by the others in the order they joined, with the guy that ...

Thank you PaperPlunger and Wicked.

One dumb follow-up question please. If the other option I mentioned was agreed upon, and everyone missed a move voluntarily, that would not cancel the game or anything, right?

The only rule about missed turns is three misses and you're out. Correct?

Thanks ...

So how does that work physically?

Your "sitter" logs on as you from a different computer and takes your turn?

So then you are not held guilty of two guys using the same account as long as it is for this purpose?

missed turn options?

If a player in a casual game announces in advance that he has to miss a turn, can it be arranged for a disinterested third party to move for that player?
