Another Idea I thought of was to make it sort of A colonial New England Map. The other idea is to continue as normal but make the colors of continents something unique to that area/state. For Example for Rhode Island, Coffee Syrup, For Maine Lobsters, For Vermont Maple Syrup. For New Hampshire ...

I think Vermont,NH, Maine, and Conn. can all be two continents. Mass can be 3/4 (Need a mass resident). And RI, my state can be one bonus that is hard to defend (attack from 4 sides)
