If a message has been placed in a game chat since you last entered show an icon in the My Games to identify that there is unread messages. In addition on the mygames tabs, show where the message has been posted - i.e active/inactive or completed.

I've been premium for about a month now, when I first paid I joined about 30 games and lost many, many points. I settled into about 15 at a time and thats the ideal number for me, and more then worth the $20 bucks it cost.

Likewise, more than 15 and I start to loose the plot with turns coming ...

now played two games in last 2 days where my teammate has attacked me

One of them broke a continent to do it, the other was at the start of a game and says he didnt realise it was doubles (may be the case, still annoying)

It would be great if the RSS feed could tell you how much time you have left to take your turn (obviously only applicable when it is your turn).

I agree! If this info was in the RSS feed, Fantius would be able to add it to his Tell Me When tool and I would know exactly which game to play first ...

In almost every game you play there is an alliance. Most of the time they are just known.. for example if the one player is holding south america and northamerica, your holding oceania a little africa and asia and the last dude has europe. I would not attack europe knowing i need him to be able to ...

Alliances are a part of the game and, in my opinion add interest to it. However, with good players, alliances aren't needed because they know when to attack the leader and not to fight eachother.

Also, we have to remember what max's rank is! (No offence meant by this)

I think part of the problem is that new players don't appretiate that games are not generally real time. As soon as they realise this they loose interest.

* make it clearer when they sign up and when they join games as a new player

Agreed the eiminating a player to take their cards and the timing is one of the tactical aspects of risk.

Unlimited fortify was probably the ticket. Not sure how they would manage it on first turn but unlimited can be bad news on the right starting positions.
