I agree with you that the solution is infeasible and open to a lot of abuse. We can both agree to disagree on the points = skill question.

Maybe they can have unrated rt games, which will be easier to play!

The problem is, that Gabbly has NOTHING to do with conquer club. So if something happens in there, it is Gabbly's problem not CC's. So when anyone has problems with that chat room, they should be talking to gabbly since it is their site.

The strategy that the original poster is referring to is the fort strategy. Basically what you want to do is keep building armies on each of your territories. This way, if someone decides to break you, you can regain your land back no problem.

I would think that unless you have played less than 20 team games, the error margin on your singles score would be over 5% which is pretty brutal.
