May I suggest you have some darts attached to the dart board! You could make some interesting bonuses and game play if you include darts! I'd also like to see a more rugged dart board. Something with more character. I'm not too fond with the unused dartboard look. I think this can be an awesome map ...

well, at least you seem determined which is a good thing.
in my opinion even with "red can only attack green, black can only attack white" you still have a perfectly simmetrical map that will lead to stalemates and bland gameplay.
look at chinese checkers and how few people play that map. and that ...

Right - I've recently come back to CC and want to continue this map.

I've created an update on page 1 on the graphics and gameplay, all incorporated on the new map for you guys to discuss.

Gameplay idea:

Each wedge is a continent, but gives a bonus of only 1.
Wedges do not connect to each other. The only way to travel to another numbered wedge is through the outer bull.
Outer bull resets to a single neutral each turn. This ensures that no one can hold a single territory to block ...

Personally, I believe you should try to keep things relatively simple.

Mr. B's idea of territories with the same value being able to attack each other may sound nice, but it seems to me it will be extremely difficult when playing to figure out what can attack what. The "only cross to other ...

I still prefer the grey if Im honest...

The map looks better balanced with the grey carbons, I think the blue is a little too overpowering and darkens the map too much.

Well, maybe you could change the color of the wire around the territory instead of having a symbol. It may look tacky, but maybe it'll look good if done well. I'd recommend shifting the color, as opposed to drawing in the color, that way it still looks like the wire.

OK, I really like this map idea, and the graphics are just great, (excusing the starts of course).
A couple of suggestions:
I don't think this map will need army circles. The territories are well defined enough and army circles in most cases would screw up the graphics, looking just as out of place ...

My initial impression is that the map looks a bit cluttered..
I'd imagine it would look better in the large version, but the icons for the ports and forts are too big on this version of the map imho.

The quicker you sort out the legend the better, its quite inelligible at present, so I couldn't ...

I think the best strategy would be for you to post your thoughts on gameplay, bonuses et al.
That way you'll recieve some feedback.

It looks like a good map size, and theres alot you can add with major cities from each region.

Maybe get to work on the graphic end of it now, and as stated ...

I'd like to get this into the Map Foundry as soon as possible to get down and dirty with it, so Im gonna update the first post of this thread with bonus and provisional gameplay details.

The original map looks flat, and if a revamp was to be done, I'd like to see the sea and land in a more "rounded" map, like really viewing the earth from high up in the clouds.

This can be achieved with better graphics, which you've already done a sterling job opposed to the original, but also with ...

I love the soft cotton-y feel to this map, and I look forward to giving it a go once available.

I dont see any fault with this, so Ive nothing in the way of critical feedback.
However, I see your stewing over what graphic to put in the center of the map...

I take it the image will be located ...

Example:
At the beginning of your turn you get the following message and options:
You get 3 darts for holding 4 territories.
Choose one:
Throw all three darts at the same time (deploy randomly)
Or
Aim for your target(s) with two darts (choose where you deploy)

Perhaps you would always get 30 ...
