I think this is what bugs me most. Not the maps (the replacements just being strange), or the dice (which I actually quite like), but the term "spoils". It seems wrong.

Reasonably sure this had nothing to do with the foundry. My guess is that CC had to make some changes in order to comply with copyright issues which arose. Que sera sera.

Its Brasil in Portuguese, Brazil in English. When he writes about it in the legend he has to write in English, but the continents are named as it would be. Thats my assumption at least.

The maps and features in the maps are limited by the capabilities of the XML. See the XML tutorial to get an idea of the current capabilities.

The bonus pairing shouldn't be a problem (if you mean it to be like AOR) as this really just amounts to "continents" which you set up. But you can't really ...

The borders are fine as is. I can't even tell the difference when I try to look.

I'm willing to do it for you if you can't manage. Wouldn't worry about it yet, though. Only need it much later in the foundry process.

The texture in the latest is much better, IMO.

Is there any particular reason Cyprus, Corsica and Sardinia only have connections towards the South, btw? Seems strange considering the geopolitics of the region.

I'm of the opinion that the texture problem might just be the water. It just makes it a little too much and hard on the eye to tell where one thing ends and the next begins. Any chance we could see it with the texture on land as is, but the water texture gone?

In my mind it's a combination of stamping and directing feedback in so far as their feedback is designed to maintain the quality which is expected for maps at CC.

I'd be the part of the 10 or 20 possible CCers sitting in RSA...probably not much of a meetup since at least half are at least 14 hours away at the coast. Unless the meetup would be in Chicago towards the end of the month. Not much hope though...

Not to rock the boat, but mapmakers tend to be less kind to those commenting when they do so about gameplay. Many of these comments are dismissed or simply ignored. This doesn't exactly encourage people to make any comments in that regard at all.
