That kinda depends on how much time you have to devote to CC.

I think on average the norm is about 2 minutes per move so 30 games will keep you busy for an hour or so. If you have 3 hours or so a day to invest then 100 games should be enough.

I'm finding whoever goes first has a huge advantage.

Arrange with your opponent that you will not attack each other for a set number of rounds. You may only attack neutrals to gain territory in these first rounds.

I don't know this for a fact but I would imagine that the newb who misses their first turn is likely to miss all of them.

one solution would be to boot any new player that misses their first turn. This will get the dead wood out of the system quicker while not holding up the game longer than ...

I don't really see any evidence of collusion. In a 3 player game there will always appear to be an alliance as the two weaker players should always concentrate on the strongest. As to the 16 against 1, red can't defend that anyway so might just as well leave a 1 on it.

Personally I don't like the way the newer members come on here and have the piss taken out of them.

I'm in the exact same position, although I got a really sweet drop the dice have killed me, first round 6 on 3 to get the conti ends up 1 on 2, 2nd round 6 on 2 ends up 1 on 1. needless to say I'm toast.
