I have 199 bot wins and can't get to 200. I've played group games that included level 1 bots, so they didn't count. Then I tried 1v1 games vs level 2 bots with no change. What gives?

How is it determined who will go first? It seems to be random, but I'm not sure. I apologize, by the way, if this question has been asked and answered a hundred times already. I searched the forum for a while and couldn't find any similar topic.
