Re:

Anyway do you guys ever discuss anything on this thread aside from how good it used to be? Quit living in the past...

Hear, hear! Let's talk about how good it's going to be, like when we all have nanobots in our fingers to anticipate our psychic impulses and type for us before we even think ...

Haven't been around these parts in almost a year, so I'm a little out of touch with all this...

Hmm...an unfortunate miscommunication, from the looks of it. Johloh sent me his last draft a donkey's age ago, and when I replied voicing a lot of objections I had to elements of it, he didn't respond ...

Sure. Pick the texture you want, fill a whole layer with it, and make a bump map of your main layer using that layer. If you can't figure it out after messing with this for half an hour, pm me.

4 x 4 x 4 = four rows, four columns, four levels. Three dimensions. Normal tic tac toe is 3 x 3, but 3 x 3 x 3 tic tac toe wouldn't work because if you take the centre cube off the start you will always win. So you have to make it 4 ...

At least we don't eat raw polar bears.

Someone suggested this waaay back. 3-d tic tac toe is great - 4 x 4 x 4 - and I would love to play this map if someone makes it, but the trouble with these maps is making it clear to players which territories connect to which.

I like the idea of unprecedented territory numbers and unprecedented bonuses because they're, well, unprecedented. Master Bush, do you have some specific map in mind to put this idea into action? I'm not sure Alaska would be best for it, if that's the intent.

I dug this idea when some guy suggested it in June, and I still dig it now. My comments remain the same:

People will probably hate your idea - there's a bit of resistance to maps that aren't instantly comprehensible, like the crossword map (which I reiterate is genius) - but that doesn't mean ...

For the record, I do consider abortion the ending of a human life, and the morning after pill likewise - I just don't find it useful to orient a debate on that question, as it ultimately comes down to what you consider a human life - Spuzzell's definition or jay_a2j's. And the dialogue never seems ...

I really think the whole question is symptomatic of the larger problem. The fact that society is organized in a way that any young couple is likely to find a pregnancy a huge burden is really pretty crazy if you think about it. I think we're just so used and attached to the underlying principles ...

What's wrong with a good severed head? You must be one of those brutes who chased Vesalius out of Padua. Clinging to taboos against dissection is just as prudish.

The consequences being that you have a 0.01% chance of pregnancy (with contraceptives that is). I mean by your argument, you should never fly unless you're willing to accept crashing etc.
