EDIT: btw, I´m in class 14. I have the same question as the others, do we all join class games on the 28th or do we get an invite to games on the 28th?
Have the defender auto roll 2 if possible, but allow the attacker to pick 1-3. Great improvement if you include the "must move at least as many armies as dice rolled" rule. =D>
Why?
The reality is that the CC version of risk is slightly simplified. Not only are attackers unable to select how ...
True, I suppose a lot of people wouldn´t want mid turn spoils cashing limited. To be honest, I would be happier to see clear fog/nuclear spoils implemented than minor tweaks like this.
EDIT: Looked up games with a player called "doc" Wasn´t a guy who used chat, had only played eight games. Could you tell me the name of the doc you are referring to?
Also, I´m only playing 3 games right now, I´m holding one open for when I can get into ...
Whose stopping you from making a new account? Although I consider actively using two accounts to be stealing real money, since running more than four games at once is intended as a members only perk, who can stop you? If you´re really paranoid, Tor can hide your IP. Also, if you pm administrators ...
Below is an example of how much I love typing, and why I shouldn´t discuss strategy, speculation, or opinion in the normal community. That is why I want to join a community in which discussion is the norm. I promise to be more careful and concise in my discussions when I join the cooks.
No more than 1 set of spoils cashed mid turn by a given player on any given round. Spoils may only be cashed mid turn on the same turn the spoils were aquired. Allow aquisition of more than 5 spoils, but when one has more than five spoils he must turn in exactly one and ...
If someone else takes oz, the remaining players owe it to themselves to remove all of that players other armies from the board. Failure to do so will cost you dear.
Thanks, I´ll go for that strategy. I am playing terminator, and can´t fight oz, but righty now I´m the only player with a country ...
I would vote for the option where three spoils are turned in, one is selected to be nuked, and all territories adjacent to the nuked territory retain their previous owners but are reduced to a single troop. On large maps, this might actually make nukes good! It would also make nukes dangerous enough ...
Well you dont get something if you turn in territories you already own. Also, your opponents can take your territories just as easily as you can take theirs. I think that kind of balances out the fairness.
I agree. The only ''downside'' this spoils type would have is that it would prolong games ...
Good point. Telling other people what I know costs more to me than what I could gain other ways. Come to think of it, player B would probably be dead at C's hands by now if he weren't too scared to take NA...
This is what happened: I had a territory in Chicago and Sao Palo in a fog of war game. I notice that player C has 1s in north america and an army of 17 in South America. Depending on whether or not player C has a territory in Mexico City, player C could use his reinforcement move to transport his ...
How do you like to word requests to increase the odds that the targeted player will agree to them? The current situation is that there are two powerful players: Red in Asia and Scandinavia and Blue in the Americas. I'm trying to pull out of Canada since it is next on Blue's to kill list, and Blue is ...
I think that mantaining borders but not attacking is the best kind of truce, verbal or otherwise.
The second best kind of truce is making one with the weakest player. They are more willing to help, since they will lose anyway if things continue as they are. They will also not get strong enough to ...
