Come on mate. This map deserves AT LEAST final forge status. There are pathetic and unplayable maps that have reached final forge. This is a flawed diamond of a map...flawed yes, but still a diamond!

Hey, I'm not taking anything away from the map, but 125 pages of history tells me not to get my ...

the map plays well, and it's fun to look at, but as a moderately color blind player I have to say that the colors absolutely suck... I have to keep the XML open to figure out which bonus region is which.
oaktown....thanks foro your input on that...much appreciated.
I am sorry the colours are not ...

I think Mibi was pointing out that the logic behind MM's comment was flawed.

C.

Nah the logic is sound. Lets say on any given day, 100 games are made for world 2.1 and another 100 are made for map X which only has 42 countries. Now you check back in a month and although the same number of games ...

Oh my god, I was gone for over a month and this thread still didn't die. Somebody get some Holy water or something.

No don't - the map is finally going somewhere again (hopefully to the final forge subforum pretty soon)

Ah yes, onbekende, but the link helps with fortifications around the entire "continent". Without it, you cut off the ability to move armies between the east and west flank.

Yeah, I agree with this. Also, it's an important attack route between the ends of the map which are otherwise cut off ...

A point about the signatures... I know Samus helped a lot with gameplay, but I'm sure many other foundry members did as well. I don't mean to take anything away from Samus and maybe I missed something earlier, but I find it strange his name is on the map. Multiple names to a map usually implies one ...

Everyone knows that real players only play Freestyle Assassin on the Indochina map with no cards no fortifications escalating dice started on prime number days adjusted by the Chinese New Year unless the groundhog sees his shadow while you're doing the Macarena in women's underwear.

I'm truly indifferent to all of this. I will agree that bigotry is terrible. It's awful to go and discriminate like that, but I realize that bigots are just sorry assholes who are insecure with themselves. What you don't seem to realize is that we are talking about seriously people, who use racial slurs as insults. Not jokes, but what the KKK thinks. People who think we should "Kill all the f*gs" and "Get our black slaves back", or that "The ch*nks built Canada". Stuff like that. Not jokes, but ...

The point is you're white, you don't know what is offensive to them. I went through a Taco Bell drive through and asked the guy "are your Mexican Pizzas made with fresh Mexicans or the frozen kind?" It doesn't matter if you think that's offensive. The guy happened to be Hispanic and he thought it ...

I have gotten to know plenty of gays and minorities, and in my experience straight white people are by far the most offended about things like this. The general feeling I get from minorities is "lighten up cracker!"

If it didn't say anything offensive, it would just be in General Discussion, Callouts, or Social Lounge. Those forums are already pretty liberal in terms of what you can get away with. If you can't do the "really bad" stuff in Flame Wars, they shouldn't even have the forum. I don't go there, but hey ...

I agree with everything Guiscard said, perhaps something a bit more complicated/unique for the cities. Just a plain dot might not register as a symbol for something right away (and you can obviously do better than that graphically).

Also, I think what Keyogi was talking about was the shadow ...

***Suggestion***Require permission for 2+ accts from same IP

Suggestion Idea: Set the default to block creation of a second account from an IP address which is already associated with an account. People who are honestly different people playing from the same computer can simply PM a Mod and have the block removed for them.

THIS MAP IS identical to the classic map, is this some kind of a joke? clearly you need to edit it to make it your own (other than just the signature)
