sadly this is not a default option for phpBB and the more mods we add to the code, the harder every update and new addition becomes...and so as this hasn't been too much of an issue up to this point, well, you get the idea I hope.

Hm, maybe you should get a fraction of the armies you would normally get, say half.

So there isn't this huge infusion of new, seemingly "unearned" armies when a turn-misser comes back, but they aren't completely penalized.

I find myself wanting to tell the people I've had good experiences teaming up with about new team games I've started.

But cutting and pasting the same message to more than 2-3 people is a real drag.

I realize we don't want spam, but is there any way to CC several players in a single message?

If I've got a doubles or triples game, and I lose a teammate, but then my team wins anyway....

The best protection against that sort of move is to wait several hours before taking your turn and attacking quickly.

Or if you really want to get technical find out what time zone they live in by checking their play times and deliberately wait until they're asleep... but caring that much is ...
