Re: single player game?

LOL "provided the maps you want to learn are maps I know"

My dad taught me about trusting strangers like you. Seriously though, I might take you up on that offer in the future. I'm still just figuring out how the site works, and if I like it, so I'm non-premium right now and limited to 4 games. My ...

single player game?

I would like to test out a couple interesting maps that I've found, but stepping into a game against veteran opponents when I haven't ever played a map just seems like suicide. Especially since some of them are VERY difficult to even see where the borders are, while others have funky bonuses like ...

Hello.

Hello. I'm a new player, of course I played this as a board game years ago.

I'm doing pretty well so far. 4/5 wins, with what should be another win and another loss in my two current games.

Any advice is helpful.

Thanks.

Re: question about 5 max spoils

oh, that's very interesting. It's a freestyle game too, which I don't think I'm a fan of, but I'm going to do my damnedest to take advantage of. thanks for the help!

Re: question about 5 max spoils

I have 4 cards (non matched) and can kill a player that has 2 cards. So if I kill the player and have 6 total cards (in the attack phase of my turn), I'll be forced to trade in 3 immediately. As I read your answer above.

BUT..... Will I be able to place those spoils troops (including the bonus ones ...

Re: What happens when a player misses 3 turns?

okay thanks, guys.

follow up: On a team game..... 2 person team, but one gets skipped 3 consecutive times, then the team becomes just 1 total player, with 1 turn per round, and he now owns all armies and territories from the kicked out (skipped) player. Right? 1 person vs. all the other teams.

What happens when a player misses 3 turns?

Yes, the rules state that he's kicked from the game.... I mean to ask what happens to the armies and territories?

Are they suddenly empty?

Does a computer AI take over? If so, is it any good?

Re: Neutral territories

Thanks guys! Yes that answers my question, and validates what I was doing. It's only a few rounds in, and I've got 30 troops, he's got 11. And it's my turn w/ a one of each spoils to turn in. I'm looking pretty good.

I'm probably going to kill only one more neutral that prevents me from owning N.A ...

Neutral territories

So, I've started my first game today. I'm in a 2 player game, with half the map covered by neutral (3 troop) spaces. My opponent seems to keep attacking them in odd places across the entire board, but I'm only do it to clear out continents.

Only a few rounds in, the neutrals have not attacked me ...
