Good on you for reporting this. While the message is open if you click on the upside down triangle with an exclamation mark, you can report the PM. Reporting it this way will give the mods a copy of the PM itself, which will allow them to look at this case

I did something similar, retrieving data using the api. A quick tidy-up of the data and it was reasonably easy to see how many unique kills I have. I've now got a list so I know who I've already beaten for the medal, without having to foe anyone
