I'm not so worried about the newsletter, but it'd certainly be useful for speed games etc, if you had a notification as soon as it was your turn rather than having to check your inbox it'd probably make the whole thing more fluid.

At present all notifications and newsletters are sent by e-mail, but I think most people check their twitter account more regularly than their e-mail. So it would be good if the site allowed you to receive these notifications by twitter.
