I will say that a keyboard idea has some potential. A long while ago it was discussed that you could give bonuses for forming certain words like 'conquer' or 'club'. I think that is a much better idea then going with a traditional continent route, but it poses many problems as well. For example ...

Graphics are absolutely top notch, you couldn't get much better.

The only thing that needs improvement is the legend, (text needs to be consistent)

Also continents took me about 3 mins to work out, they need sorting out (you can't just have them like you described them only putting all the names ...

copyright is your first issue, you'd have to either change the names of contries and the title (runscope? landscape of runes...?)

or get permission to use the names from someone at runescape.

market garden won't work as a map, the nature of market garden is that it's a thin salient along hells highway, the map will be too linear...

One idea that I think can be incorporated (in future castle maps) would be to have certain areas of the grounds in front of the cast be designated as "Trebuchet" ares, that have a one way attack to the castle walls.

lol. i said the exact same thing in the previous page. unfortunately it can't be ...

1. how do i make that image blend in with the background?? like on the classic map, there are some planes and nukes across the ocean and they blend nicely, how do i do that??
2. i see some people have the legend written on parchments. is that parchment an external image or is it ...

Here's an idea for you KEYOGI.

I've posted a link of an old map , with painted areas around the borders, if you used say...

yellow
dark green
light green
dark brown
light brown
& biege
(the exact colours you used for the first map you did)

That would look ...

Despite the names, countries near the borders, i really do find it hard to differentiate between...

perhaps you could either change the colours slightly or put thicker borders round?

I don't know, but i do have to strain my eyes a bit... e.g. looking at georgia (only you could get away with this ...

anyone else find the compass and ruler and space at the bottom of the map unnecessary? It doesn't contribute to play, and requires additional scrolling. It's a square map and will never fit on one screen, but if some of that space was cropped a small version might.

Yeah actually, i think ...

That sounds great to me, it makes alcatraz accesible from nearly every continent, so you could have a +1/+2 bonus if you hold
Oakland & alcatraz,
Marin & alcatraz,
Contra Costra & alcatraz,
Downtown & alcatraz,
The Richmond & alcatraz

berkeley to alcatraz (berkeley does have a marina).

I'm sure ...
