What does NPC stand for?

I thought this thread was about trash talking, team fallouts and massive arguments in the game chat.

Same here. I have lost BOB in game play.

I don't want to court stalkers but there seem to be far fewer trashtalkers than there used to be. Politeness, or more often silence, has broken out. In fact, it is infectious, so now I usually restrain myself from baiting an opponent. It just seems out of fashion nowadays.

I keep attacking/deploying all my troops by clicking on the maps when I didn't want to. Basically I don't know what I am doing. Are there instructions for clicking on maps anywhere. I am using BOB 5.2.3

This is only happening on certain maps, e.g. Prohibition Chicago and Circus Maximus. I can only see the numbers and have to play the game totally blind remembering where the territories and bonuses are.

I have tried everything including clearing my cache, changing browser, turning off BOB, turning ...

In a 7 vs 1 situation, the chances of losing the first four rolls to reduce it to a 3 vs 1 situation are 0.3403 to the power 4 = 0.0134 or in laymen's terms 1 in 74. Seems to happen a lot more often than that.

The dice analyser needs to be more of a precision tool.

These charts look like a superb extra feature. Quite a few people have been calling for something like this for a while. Thanks for the hard work.

I can get a clickable cursor but don't seem to be able to bring up the charts at present. Is there something obvious I have missed?

OK, sorted it out.

It seems to have been caused by the addition of a new map which I think is Iceland.

Uncheck the points and ranks box. Run a scan. That worked for me.

Today my map ranks are not right. For example I have won 2 from 2 Middle Earth games and it's showing a win ratio of 0 from 2. It may have confused the stats from different maps.

There are other errors too. e.g. My points score from Ireland should be +147 but it is showing as +79.

Also - just to check - you do have to rerun Map Rank from your left bar - to pick up your new results...

Now that it holds the data - it only needs to read the new data - so is much quicker than your first run.

Thanks for the great add-on. It's really focused me on playing all the different maps.

There's one thing I can't figure out. I'm sure it's really obvious. The blue numbers next to the maps and game options don't seem to be updating. Is there a time lag of a few days between winning a game and them ...

I had the same problem with the Conquer Man Board. Bob got stuck at the initializing stage and I had to restart the computer. Only this board, other boards were fine.

I fixed it by reinstalling Firefox. I don't know why this worked but it did.

I was pondering this idea yesterday, never having read this topic. Do it.

I had the identical problem to you. I went into Greasemonkey and found I had 2 BOB scripts. I deleted one and everything was fixed. It was really easy.

Who was the guy who used to watch games, yet not play his moves and make up truly foul abuse? I seem to remember his username was 'shit' but can't find him now. Think he was Norwegian or some other Scandinavian nation.

Since the new rules came in deferring the army placement of the missed go reinforcements, i have not had a single instance of this semi-dubious behaviour in any of my games. In the past, it was very common. Few would admit they were doing it to gain advantage, but I'm sure it's happening less often ...

2 of the 3 names are islands off the coast of Thailand. Not that that is a sin, just builds the circumstantial evidence.
