CC Car Park

27 territories
6 continents (plus extra armies)

Initial thoughts for me are that it looks okay considering it was my first ever attempt with the Gimp.

Points I need to look at are:
- The linking between territories (those black lines are ugly as hell) - suggestions???
- Picture for the TIcket Machine (any suggestions?)
- Tidy up the key (colours aren't right in all circumstances, hard to read in places)
- ?

So, feedback please. And do remember that this is my first ever attempt with using the Gimp so as of yet I am unable to use the fancy features but I'm sure I will be able to more so after I work on it for a bit.

Cheers.

the "no" option didn't go on the poll - any chance a mod could add it? :)

2 things dude

1: this should be in the map ideas sub-forum, not here.

2: No I wouldn't play this map because of the idea, if this get's out it's going to look like the map makers are so desperate with ideas, you should look in the map-ideas thread inthat sub-forum for some good ideas, I would like to see you try in other ideas.

Then again this might surprise me

1: Well I guess that's something else I have to ask the mods to do :P

2: I don't see this as a 'desperate idea' map, I just see it as a bit different, not following the conformity of being a whole land mass.

EDIT: thanks which ever mod did both of those things :):):)

I didn't mean offence if that's what comes across sorry,

I'm just saying there are so many great ideas out there and I don't think this is one.

Maybe it's just me, and others might like it so as I said before, this map might surprise me.

I wasn't offended, definately not.

Criticism is a part of making a CC map :P

And I know what you mean about other great ideas, it's nice to make a map based on your own ideas though :)

Making a map from an original idea is something nice, but sometimes those ideas themselves aren't so nice.

[sarcasm]Thanks for the constructive post![/sarcasm]

For now at least I want to carry on with this map so I would appreciate comments on the aestetic and gameplay, not sly comments on the consept itself.

Yeah, brought that up as an issue in my original post - they will be gone by the next version

EDIT:

It's a thought, but I don't think I have the capability to do that, and I wanted this to be a fairly small map.

Still looking fro suggestions on the black lines..

The black dashed lines which currently show which territoriescan attack which are UGLY AS HELL, I was hoping for another suggestion of how to link the territories or at the very least how to improve the lines.

kk thanks, that seems like a much better alternative...will substitute the black lines for those walkways in V2.

V2 WILL BE POSTED LATER THIS WEEK

other suggestions regarding bonuses, layout, etc. greatly appreciated!

Any chance a mod can pull the poll? I'm happy that it's not hated by a majority so I'm going on with it for a bit.
