although if brady wins it all this year and another one and plays another 6 to 8 years, I think most, if not all by then, will say he is the greatest all time.

and i think he can accomplish this, but i cannot say he is best right now.

Definitely, if he can just keep his QB rating above 100.00 for the rest of his career & keep a winning record he will be the greatest of all time. I don't know why you guys don't have Manning up there at all, he is better than Favre

hard to put him past favre and marino where he is behind all their records, only reason some say brady and montana over favre is cause of the super bowl wins, but they had way more talent on their teams then what favre had, plus favre plays in weather 20 below zero

Yea & the cold can make a huge difference for the receivers & QB's. There is nothing worse than trying to catch the ball with numb finger tips, & he QB can't wear gloves

exactly and he has broken many of his wide receivers fingers over the years cause of how hard he throws and the frozen weather, or frozen tundra as they call it at lambeau field, lol

It's not unusual for receivers to break or dislocate their fingers though, even in warm weather

Let's remember Montana's 1st Super Bowl didn't exactly have household names in the skill position's. Running backs Ricky Patton, Earl Cooper and recievers Dwight Clark and Freddie Soloman.
And you can't base it all on stats either. Favre has had over 3400 passing attempts more on Montana. Montana had less interceptions per attempts than Favre (2.6 to 3.3) and his overall quaterback rating is still higher than Favre's (93.5 to 85.7).
And then his last 2 years he plays in Kansas City with a bum back and almost takes K.C. to the Super Bowl but falls short to the Buffalo Bills.
Still would take Joe over any other quaterback.

almost started consecutive game sin over 280 games counting post-season, absolutely sick

more wins

most wins in nfl history

montana played in 80 degree weather almost all the time, favre zero degree weather a lot, huge difference

i could go on and on

this is just off the top of my head, lol

and favre did have less talent and i guarentee you will have less that make the hall of fame on his team then montana

it is close though between them 2, good argument for sure, however if montana had only won 1 super bowl, we would not be talking, it would be FAVRE by miles

He means best QB

I have seen Favre make more poor decisions than Montana would of. The only thing that bails out Favre most of the time is the cannon of an arm. Put Favre in place of Montana in San Francisco and Montana would still produce more wins. You still can't argue that Favre has a higher turn over rate than Montana.

agreed but had less talent to work with, now put montana in zero degree weather to play most of his games and with those teams, lol, and montana would not be as good either.

i wouldnt say jim kelly is the best but he should get some respect, he had a great career. anyways, i think the best QB ever is tom brady hands down. by the end of his carrer he will hold most if not all important passing records there are. plus he will have more than 5 rings by the time his career is over with.

John Elway always did more with less, taking the Broncos to the Superbowl a record five times. The Broncos won the last two, when they had a supporting cast for Elway. But the three they lost with Elway, he carried those teams on his back to get there. There is no one else I would want under center than old #7.

all those recievers are extremely average at best. wat is Givins doing nowadays without brady? brady made him. is branch doing anything near wat he did in NE? No because brady also made him. troy brown is an average sized, average speed reciever that brady also made. brady made these recievers look so much better than they really are. and for Vrabel im taking that comment as a joke. Faulk is a solid recieving running back but he is no where near anything that u can say as a great threat.
