Escalating cards/freestyle requires little talent or skill; I believe an untrained monkey could win by mashing the buttons successfully enough.

I assumed you lot wouldn't want to play freestyle anyway, I said it to get a response so you lot would say what damn settings you wanted. So then, so far we are agreed on Sequential doubles.
Pick some damn maps and we can get this going.

Right, we'll pick 5 maps and announce which pairing will play on each one, then you can pick which PC-team each of your duos will battle. Each of your duos is free to choose none/fixed cards as they see fit.

Sorry about the time this is taking, seems the lazy sods in my clan think it's better to have the sick girl do everything. To save time on blame I think we should all agree that everything is the fault of Kwan.
Also Mustard you said you will have 8 players, but you may have all 12 of you decide to participate. Can you confirm now whether it will be 8 or 12? I have 12 players ready, but if it is 8 I will have to cut a few. Either that or you could double up some players.
Now then, to speed things up, everyone give me your team and prefered settings within the next 48 hours. Those that do not get stuck with whatever they are given.
To keep it simple and reduce the likelyness of people squabbling over settings all games will be Unlimited Doubles Sequantial with No fog. So just give me your cards and map.

Ooooh I get to go up against Narky and Norse? Well this certainly makes my day. I'm a no frills kind of gal so I was hoping for just classic, but asia looks simple enough. As for cards, I don't really care.
I'll just give you fair warning, I know Narkyboy would like a real battle and to fight tooth and nail, but against me I'm afraid that just might not happen. See back in my early days of CC when I still played risk regulary I thought it would be funny to steal the sister of the dice gods and sell her to some frisky leprachauns. The Dice gods did not find this amusing however, and as such I've lost any 'luck' with the dice I might have had.

Humbug RTFT, we've already indicated which maps each of our pairs are rolling on this time round. Just choose which pair you're sending to each, and which cards (none / fixed) and we'll get started.
If you want we can do a round 2 where you get to pick the maps, and we pick the cards. Sounds fair enough to me...

Basically you just need to send pairings to go toe-to-toe with the three I announced a couple of posts up. Then we can get this show on the road. Is this all to your liking?
