I like em better without Shaq. I really really really dislike Shaq as a basketball player. If he can learn to put the ball through the hoop form more than 3 feet away then I might come around, but he's made a very generous living being a big guy who just plays big and has a very good one dimensional game and apparently no motivation to improve his overall game.
yo a cali forum. finally i can talk bout the Lakers. yea thats right i like the Lakers. born and raised as a laker fan, my partens always bought me laker shit.
I am glad to see so many LA Loser fans here. That way when Phoenix knocks them out in the first round AGAIN I will have someone to gloat to.
Seriously, L.A. is a great franchise, but Kobe can't win without more help. Bynum will do the trick if Kobe can hold on for another few years, but without help at point guard and the 5 spot they are DOA in the playoffs.
Your GM is a mired in mediocracy. He won't take chances that would make the team much better for fear that it will somehow make the team worse.
Last off season LA had a chance a Kidd, Garnett, Stoudimire, and Marion at different times, but he wouldn't pull the trigger because it meant losing out on Bynum who has a decent chance at being a great player down the road.
Your sig is wrong volfan. the LA lakers were not NBA Champions in 1952, 53, or 54. That was the Minneapolis Lakers. I'm pretty sure they weren't in LA untill 1960.
