Now I know many on here are underage, BUT, for those of age, if you could play Internet non-Hasbro Risk for money, would you?

Yeah, I consider tournys as playing for money kinda.

But I think you mean more like betting on games, which I would do to.

If it was like a <= $3 dollar buy-in, sure.

I don't know about the legality of it though. As it may require a license and insurance.

Maybe if you can buy ConquerClubCoins ( or CCC ). Then use the CCC for betting...

This would save a bunch on fees.... but yea I don't know how feasible it would be.

I think this idea, although interesting, is far too susceptible to abuse.

Secret alliances that would be difficult if not impossible to prove would abound. Multis would skyrocket, and even if one is successfully identified, that person would be long-gone with the cash.

Honour tends to go out the window when money comes in the door.

so lets organize a game; proposed rules: $2 per player...must have paypal..either winner take all or some scaled 1st, 2nd 3rd thing....Personally, being totally anal-retentive about alliances, I would propose a no-alliance rule to keep it real.

The only settings I prefer are unlim fort and seq play; maps I prefer are classic, space, brit isles, x-word, discworld, tamriel.
