Trifecta has a huge update. I just went through the top 750 posters and selected all with an old joined date to check their score. The result is a completely new top 5 (that is very far ahead of 6th place) and a comprehensive top 25
If I missed you I will calculate your score, but to make the top 25 you need:
Min. of 250 posts
Min. score of 1475
Joined before Oct 2006
To make the top 5 you need:
Min. of 1200 posts
Min. score of 1790
Joined before June 2006
Please keep in mind that if you are at the minimum in any category you are going to need to be damn near first in the other two categories to make the cut.
i want to mention again the very annoying join date influence.
my current score would be something horribly huge because of my join date and that's silly because many people ahead of me have far less posts and most of all far less points.
for example a guy that joined on the first date and has 1 (ONE) point and 0 (ZERO) posts in the forum would still be ahead by a lot. and this is really crazy. i mean the most antisocial guy who's so mentally retarded he can't win a single game and has dropped to 1 point would still be ahead of me.

No, that person would not be ahead of you by a lot. He would be incredibly far behind you in fact. Remember that I am taking the rank for each category, not the actual number of posts or number of points or anything else. Your joined date kills you at the moment, but if you are on the site for another year and a half the impact will be greatly lessened. That is the entire point of "longevity". Joining in Feb 2007 means that tons of members came before you. But in Feb 2009 there will be even more new people after you, and therefore your longevity will be improved.
Anyway, your joined date gives you 7170 by itself currently which is "equal" to someone with 41 posts or 1665 points. I'm sure you still think that is unfair, but I think the people who have been here more than twice as long as you should be at the very top.
*doesnt know how this works, but might be up there somewhere*
actually i dont know if 1400 posts is much compared to the real sad bastards you get patrolling this place. top score is approx 2900 highest ever rank probably 20th or so?
had i been wise, i would have seen that her simplicity cost her a fortune

after looking at the early method of calculation i accidentally multiplied my join number 58440 by 8 instead of dividing it and thus i got a HUGE score. that's why i said a guy that joined on day 1 with 0 posts and 1 point would be ahead of me
anyway i still hold onto my opinion that somehow this feels wrong. i mean the way you calculate longevity has a much bigger importance than playing ability and forum contribution. to be honest i'd value more a guy that comes right now and in 3 months gets to conqueror, and puts 10000 useful posts on the forum than a guy that joined in day 1 and is still a cook and has never visited the forums.

Gotcha

All of the factors are designed to weight each category evenly. The "problem" is that you can increase you score and post count purposefully but joined date can only improve with time.

I would probably value that player more as well (though none of the players on this list are cooks and none of them ignore the forums). The list I've made doesn't claim to be a list of the best players or most influential or anything else. It's just a list of the oldest members with the most posts and the most points.

Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

is that autload or autoload?
and others to consider in top 25 or top 30 if you extend to that are maybe?
cmeb4udie
gilligan
david_wain
osujacket
high born
herakilla
chard
aafitz
andrewb
khazalid
clapper011
julia gulia
rl_orange
incadenza
dcowboys055
2 dimes
fircoal
happy2seeyou
fircoal
loudawg
I think some of them may crack top 25 or 30 or very close and nice to do 30 cause of some changes, have top 25, then 5 next that are the closest, will save you time, next time you update
It's autoload, I'll correct that on my spreadsheet.
And I already have more than 25 calculated, I just posted the top 25 because I wanted to put a cap on somewhere (instead of every map asking for a calculation).
The people I have done that didn't make top 25 are:
AAfitz
Ronaldinho
Jolly Roger
AndrewB
casper
JTFR
clapper011
Fircoal
And then Andy Dufresne is almost 7000. I'll calc some of the names you posted though.
cmeb4udie only 93 posts
gilligan score in 1300's
david_wain close
osujacket only 82 posts
high born inactive
herakilla score in 1300's
chard 31 posts
aafitz just misses
andrewb just misses
khazalid not a bad pick, but misses
clapper011 just misses
julia gulia low posts and score
rl_orange not enough posts, but did okay
incadenza misses
dcowboys055 Could make it with a higher score
2 dimes score of 900
fircoal misses
happy2seeyou joined in 2007
loudawg 71 posts
So none of them made it, but several fell in the 3000-4000 range. I had calculated a bunch before, but they got bumped when I added more. I didn't actually calc the people with under 100 posts or scores of 1400 or joined in 07 because I know they won't make top 25.
