Red and Pink look too much like each other in my opinion... In World 2.1 I really have to watch from close distance to discover which territories are mine and which not. Please make Pink a light Pink. TY The rest of the colours look fine. :)

Green and Gray are difficult to distinguish.

Great new colors but changing the name slate to gray would probably be a good idea. I've never even heard the word slate before and thought for a long time what S could be standing for... Now I'm not a native speaker of english but still, I'm pretty sure "gray" is much more recognizable.

Probably you will get the same reaction as I got when I asked whether they could also state the downtime announcement in GMT or CET for the European players:

"No. Find out yourselves. Go Google. Not enough European players. We don't do such crap."

American arrogance. Too bad.

We called it slate instead of grey because (g)reen and (g)rey would have conflicting colour codes.

U will probably find this is for the colour-blind option, avoids G for Grey clashing with G for Green

i'm curious why you guys didn't go with something more logical... like repeating schemas

ie, you have this

Red
Green
Blue
Yellow
Pink
Cyan
Orange
Slate

why not something that repeats in order

Red
Green
Blue
Yellow

Pink
Lime
cyan
Orange

that way 1-4 and 5-8 are similar families...

The point is that no colors are similar

Now the green is too close to the dark grey. Wouldn't a lighter grey be better?

i disagree ^^

the real problem now is the light orange against yellow. just get rid of orange no matter what u do it looks like red and yellow. use purple maybe?

the problem was that everyone sees colors differently and everyone's screen is different

The Color committe tried to make colors that everyone is happy with it was a hard job but I think having around 70% of the community happy was/is a huge success

Colour is the correct spelling. The Americans just hashed it up when they stole our language.

That is not the only thing we stole...I think we have your balls too.

The colour changes are great news.

However, I have been using the colour-letter option for a while, and that works just as well. Actually, I should clarify; it doesn't help me to win games, but does help me to see who is wiping me out.
