I believe those red and white dice are an integral part of the global domination boardgame experienced and should be experience on the web as well.
Still, I hope to tweak the new dice to make them less annoying. They will be shifted to the left and maybe re-sized.
I don't plan on ditching them or even making them an optional, unless enough people are still complaining about visual dice a month from now...
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Strange, but my dice rolls were better before ... if that is possible.

God you're a pain in the ass.
Same size, but make them spin instead of refreshing the screen

That's another thing, auto-attack needs to go, seriously.

For once, I'm agree. It makes freestyle even more crazy. The problem is that when I'm conquesting, I tend to bring most of my troops back to the defensive position if I was just making a dive into someone else's continent (especially from places like the Quad in CCU). If I dive too deeply and someone suddenly starts their turn, I used to be able to react in time and pull back. Now with auto-attack, they've made the attack so fast that I have no time to react and pull back. It could potentially suck hardcore.
I was a major back when 1600 was major. Now that I'm back, I get to easily win a bunch of games to get my rank. Thank the 'tards here who suck at this game.

Try with the "do or die button". For me is the "dont suffer more button".

Agreed - dice sounds so good, but in practice I now look at them less than I used to with the text - I long for the simplicity of text.

I like the dice, just make them a bit smaller.
And as D.Isle said, it would be cool if they spun into place like in the risk software game, but I don't know if that's possible.

When using the auto attack, it would nice to see a summary of how many each side lost. and how many rolls there were.
Great update!

I love the dice. But agreed I would like them smaller. I find them more convenient than the numbers. It makes the game more like your sitting down playing the board game.

It needs to be changed to a dropdown menu with the amount of men you wish to attack til. Sometimes i dont want to risk all my armies.

thanx for the feedback. i'll change the dice this weekend and i'm thinking of making them smaller when you use the small map, and this size when you use the large map. after all, the large map is for members with hi-res displays and they have much less scrolling.
rolling dice would be nice, but right now i'm just looking for simple tweaks.

Why not throw the dice on the board (I can't do that in real life - I get told off as the pieces go flying all over the place)

I like the dice better, maybe they can be a little smaller, are you going to put them on the left side? because that would be better. But if someone dont like it and prefer the numbers, maybe it can be an option.
