Who's reading that?

I once had pocket rockets, everybody else folded before the first cards (river?) were dealt. We were playing Texas Hold em.

I dont get the first hand. Asklbn... should have won, because he has the higher full house, sixes fulll of twos. (obviously he would play that and not his 2 pair).

So something went wrong.

to be honest i dont think you play 66 very good there. You also play the second hand funny as you should probably be betting the river.

In a tourney which was a $5 buy-in, as i like to play small stake games. :)

I had pocket KK and someone went all-in before me and as i was last to act i though can't fold here so i called and he turned over AA neither of us hit and he took almost all my chips from me.

I was gutted.

ive lost twice with a straight flush granted once was in omaha 8 which i suppose it probably stands to reason it would be more possible in, but both times i didnt flop into the ass end of it, they caught up on the river. Those are rather surprising when they happen.

it makes very little if any sense for him to play an overpair like that. Furthermore, if you have him on an overpair once you make 2 pair, you should probably be trying to get in all of his chips, as hes not going to be able to fold an overpair there anyway.

If you actually play like that you will have a hard time winning at the game over a long term.

I had A/K off suit. Raised the big blind. It was called. Flop comes out A-A-8.

I raised, and got raised back, so I went all in with three Aces. Only hand that could beat me was pocket eights. She called, which put my tournament on the line, and she flipped over wouldn't you know it pocket EIGHTS. Needless to say I didn't get my fourth Ace, and she beat my three aces with a full house eights over aces. F*****G BS.
