Btw, I love the way that every month, theres a thread that changes topic over to JR's ignore list Can you show us your ignore list JR? It would be funny.
lol ya it does seem like it comes up in every thread just about...but I still don't know why I'm on it

Whilst I initially thought this was a great idea, I now don't think along the same lines. However, like feedback, I think that the ignore list should be subject to appeals for removal and moderator intervention if necessary.
That would prevent someone from listing someone on there ignore list for "being a better player" or the whining associated with I beat player "X" so he/she ignored me.
ok when u put one in ur ignore list have two things (usename and note )
u can activate note option and be combobox have many reasons and select the reason that why u put this player in ur ingnore list depend on ur reason determine if play agianst him only or both . but when he select aome of option and be wrong can modarator drop this reason like feedbacks.
we all know 3asefa is online all the time. He is always making moves, posting in the forum, sending me PM's and whatever else he does. But for some reason, he just cant see to find the time to make any moves in games with me and he wonders why he is on my ignore list.

dupa was put on my ignore list for that dumbass. and he can confirm that if you ask him. and this post is about you...not Dupa. so dont change the subject to another player. stop throwing games. its not fair to the other player on our team.

maybe u dont understand that we dont have a internet in all over jordan today in the morning so stop make the discution personal thing so when i start the suggestion dont talk not jr24 or else in general and ur make it personel thing and push me to talk about u so i dont worth how u think
and i told that to Teegee and alpologise from him
and u change the discution to save ur points case i know that u afraid to loose and every one beat u we told us a silly reason from why put him in ur ignore list the realy reason is to stop beat u that is clearely.
if not afraid as u said what is the problem play against u only i dont said in the suggestion to play with u against u .
3Asefa wrote:Hi all i suggest if u can change ignore list rukes(when players put a player in his ignore list just only dont join in his team but can join agianst him). Some high ranks player used that to put more of high ranks player to cant beat them and cant join agianst him only small ranks and be increase thier point but cant stop them.
cheers, 3Asefa
A) your not high ranked B) ignore list is designed so you dont have contact with the problem player. teamates or enemies c) your going to stay on my ignore list due to your incredible poor team play. this is from all your missed turns, poor deployments, lack of fortifications, and most importantly, attacking your own teamates. Im sure you saw all this documented in game chat in each game. not because im afraid to lose points to you.
you also sent me a PM stating that you are "throwing" the rest of our games all because I dropped a couple games with you before they started due to your poor performance.
here it is:
"and forget to tell u the games that ur with me if u can take my turns lol i want to lose them i dont worth if i loose or be captain and good f*ck in this games"
A+ to anyone that can translate this into a different meaning
wow, had no idea
i think it is ok to have an ignore list if there is a very good reason, not sure how it could be changed to benefit all?

welcome to my ignore list

wisely spoken ...ah well some people think they are perfect and some people are just to egotistic and "strong" to even answer a simple question in a pm

Specifics: This would be a list of folks who have been terrible teammates, but who are not otherwise terrible folks to play. They would not be able to join on your team (perhaps, for programming reasons, any team game in which you are a party). They could still play no-team games.
I know many folks set up team games with folks they already know, for this very reason. However, that limits folks who are newer, etc. To keep this from being another "newbie" or "low rank' exclusion tactic, or from otherwise getting out of hand, I suggest that you only be able to put those you have teamed with on your list. If too complicated programming-wise, then just a straight list would do -- you would still have to know the name to put someone on, just like the regular ignore list.
Why needed?: I have come across several folks who I would be happy to play against, but whom I surely hope never team with me again. In many cases, they may play well enough, but don't communicate at all, sometimes due to language issues, but sometimes for unknown reasons. Others are poor players and arrogant to boot ... deciding with no experience at all that they have the best strategy and refusing to listen to other teammaters. I don't mind playing with inexperienced folks -- shoot I am one of those in some games! However, deciding you know the best strategy the first time you play a game over someone who has over 20 wins ... once is enough teaming with folks like that! A third group might be decent players, but who use a completely different strategy, who are just not compatible teammates. Still, I hate to put these folks on my total ignore list, but that seems the only way to keep those folks from joining my teams.
This way, we could exclude folks from our teams, but still play them if we wish.
Some people make notes in feedback to this effect, but that only works if you are joining a team with someone else, not if they are joining you. Cancelling games is similarly difficult unless you are someone who is almost continually on CC and can afford to constantly check up on your waiting games.
One potential problem might be that advanced players could use this to exclude other advanced players and keep them from advancing. However, they can already do this with the standard ignore list. This would actually be less limiting.
A partner only list might seem ideal, but the pickup-game style of the join list makes that somewhat unnecessary. And that doesn't exclude people from your team that you want excluded.
If you want to be on a team with specific people, or you want to limit it to specific people, it's easy to do so with private games.
However, it's very useful to be able to make a list of undesired teammates. It's less likely to be overly populated like some ignore lists, and it means anyone can join your game no matter what, because it doesn't extend to non-team games. Seems simple enough to me.
