I don't HATE any of them, but theres several I won't play, or would prefer not to play for various reasons. I think the space map is the least likable to me, its just to cluttered.

(apologies to the person who created it)

Conquerman: Generally, it is difficult for a 3-player game to be won if all the players are good. Conquerman makes winning 3-player games even more difficult due to the way territory bonuses are calculated.

Conquerman is awful, Crossword, Brazil, British isles, Railway USA, bamboo jack, battle of actium, Berlin 1961, circus maximus, D-Day, Draknor, Dust bowl, feudal war, global warming, madness, space, midkemil, pearl harbor, pudget sound, solar system, tamriel, USApolcolypse, Valley of Kings, WWII Iwo Jima, 8 Thoughts...

Just a few maps I don't like

i think what makes a map bad is if you've had a bad experience on it. for example, i played rail usa once and won it, so therefor i like it. had i lost i'd probably not think the same way.

hate is the wrong word. I do not hate any map - they all involved a lot of time and dont deserve to be hated.

There are some I dislike playing on such as crosswise and Madness.

I respect them for their time, but that doesn't mean the map is good

I hate all the maps – none of them are even remotely tasty.

I have to say that any form of discussion that revolves around "dislike" or "hate" of a map as insensitive. The artists over it the foundry volunteer alot of spare time to create these maps. They are an invaluable asset to the site who are underappreciated and disrespected at every turn, yet people are quick to turn round and decided tehy dont like something and bitch about it.
What do you know about map making, bitch?

Fair enough.

That being said, Discworld can eat a bowl of spotted dick. No fault of the cartographer, but it's the only map I've played more than once or twice that I haven't won on. And they've been some moderately crushing defeats.

And for some reason I have a mental block when it comes to Great Lakes. I couldn't get the flow that map if my life depended on it.

Space is GREAT. It's my most won map with 1 vs 1.. Maybe with anything  Yeah, I suck.

Anyway - I still don't get AoM, but that doesn't mean I hate it. I just don't get it, so I don't play it. Actually, I get it, I just get the worst luck on it that I keep away from it at all costs, apart from when I'm looking after someone's account.

Crossword - Never played, probably won't play
Conquerman - it's cool, just not my type.
Battle of Actium - great map, just can't get it.
Circvs Maximvs - round and round and round.
Discworld - I horribly suck at that map.

Yeah - I expect to just play a map - and get bonuses for holding different colour regions I don't want some shitty resource based crap bollocks to attack... and what's a legend?

C.

a legend is some kind of fairy-tale or hero, right? and an IQ of 49 won't do? damn, i really wanted to play that map
