We have our first qualifier for the Finals: calchmbrs

He has advanced out of Division 5, so he awaits the other divisions to see who his opponents will be.

It was fun the added dimension of having all the games at once to determine standings was great. I had to decide if I eliminate a player and end up losing the match or go for the points.... loved it thanks for hosting.

I'm glad you had fun. I've really enjoyed running this one in particular for some reason, so more than likely I'll use a very similar format just with a different map when this one is over. Keep your eyes out for it.

Okay guys, we are getting close to finishing up the First Round. Looks like oakleyshole has clinched a spot in the finals from Division 4, so now we only need winners of Division 1 and 2 and we'll be set.

Keep playing hard, it looks like the battles are fierce so far.

Well, look at that, we now have all 5 finalists!

Congratulations to calchmbrs, vsezgin, JeF, oakleyshole, and freyme for qualifying for the Final Round. All of them have been sent the first 5 of the 10 games, and should be joining them soon.

Good Tournament, OP... I wouldn't mind seeing more on this same format on different 'normal' maps in the future.
