Well, I guess Sawyer, Locke, Sayid, Jack, Kate, and Hurley would work individual threads. But It would be a bit harder for the rest of them as we still don't know too much about the rest of the survivors.

So what do people think about Jacob? Most people I've talked to think he might be the black smoke monster but I think there's actually more to it than that. I'm sure that he has some relation to the black smoke monster but I don't think he is the black smoke monster.

Also when Hurley looked inside the cabin, he saw Jack/Claire's dad sitting in Jacob's chair right? We've also seen people who have witnessed people and animals that had some kind of connection with that person in the past (and we know they aren't hallucinations because Sawyer saw Kate's horse). Do you think it's possible that Hurley had met Jack's dad before they got onto the island?

Ah! Excellent! I've only seen 1 and 2 of series 4! Just wanted to make sure, so that I didn't read anything shouldn't. Episode 3 is recorded on my sky + and awaiting my return from holiday...unless my infernal sisters got to it and deleted it.

Well that's as far as we yanks have seen anyways (ep. 3) I believe you guys get the same episode we see every week only 2 or 3 days later.

I will restate that I doubt the validity of whether this "box" actually exists or not. And we've already seen that the Black Smoke Monster can take the form of someone from the survivor's history, for example when it took the form of Echoe's brother. I don't see how Jack has anything to do with the Black Smoke Monster. As far as we can tell the monster was there long before Jack and the others arrived.

OMFG awesome episode.

Stuff i learned:

THe "oceanic 6" have some kind of cover story, hiding what really happened on the island. (they say 8 people survived the crash, Kate saves people from the water, etc.)
As part of that story, Kate pretends to be Aaron's mom.
Sawyer got Kate pregnant (probably).
Miles wants a lot of money from Ben.

sawyer did not get kate pregnant at all.
she's taking care of claire's baby. that is 100% sure. if she had a kid, i guarantee she would have taken her own child over claire's.
and yes, there is a story between the oceanic six

still leads us to ask... who's in the oceanic six?

Ahhhhhh I just got home. I watched it at a friends house. Half way through I jumped up and asked who wanted to bet that the "son" was Aaron.... Oh I won!!

Hey, don't spoil it for everybody who hasn't seen it.

The whole Aaron incident makes me wonder if something bad happened to Claire. I have the feeling she's off the show at the end of this season whether she survives or not and killing her off would explain a few things. The part about 8 survivors bugs me. I wonder if all but 8 of the survivors were killed off in the upcoming struggle with the "outsiders" (don't know what else to call them) and out of the survivors 2 were left on the island.

By the way who didn't see Sawyer's con coming? Locke should have known something was up as soon as he knocked on his door and Locke should have known that Sawyer would not betray Kate like that without some kind of alternative agenda.

Next, do you think the deal between Miles and Ben will have any real effect? I'm inclined to say that he manages to "silence" the other witness who saw Ben alive, whether he has to kill her or is able to keep her alive but I don't think the rest of his group would buy it.

How about Locke being such a jackass in this episode? sticking a grenade in the guys mouth and just leaving him there? Locke's lost it. I found it funny that even though Locke knew what Ben was trying to do, he still did exactly what Ben wanted him to.

Also are we supposed to believe that these people work for the Dharma Initiative? We saw the playing cards on the beach with the symbol on the back and we know that they want Ben dead, and we know that all of this points to the Dharma Initiative. So are they just making it obvious? Or is this a bigger group that's more dangerous?

I looked at the preview for next week and it looks like the pilot's missing and Sayid &Des are trying to keep it from crashing into the water.

i think when they say oceanic 6 it seems like it's 6 from the crash. in the flash forwards it shows been in the pic. which i think means we may already have all the players. Desmond doesn't count cause he was on the island already same with Juliette.

so far i see.
Hugo, Kate, said, the kid( Aaron) and the good doctor.

so, has anyone seen a 6th person ? or have any ideas? + is Aaron considered a passenger? prob. not right?

just so you know john has been obnoxious and, suspiscious since day 1.

i hate john.

can u really be 100% sure about anything in lost lol. You never know she might have named it after claires baby if it died. anythings possible in lost!

Kate either got Claire's baby or named her baby after Claire's. There's a good chance that Kate is pregnant and that either something went wrong, she lost her baby and ended up taking Claire's or she named her baby after Claire's baby. Either way, it makes me think something bad is going to happen to Claire.

id say they want you to think its michael so it probably isnt, my guess would be Ben or maybe one of the helicopter guys, but thats just a stab in the dark.
