There is very little bad you can say about PF, they reached their stride after DSOTM but even before that they had some great songs.

For anyone thats never heard it, go and listen to "Comfortably Numb" and be BLOWN AWAY, particularly by the guitar solo.

Excellent band even some of the early stuff is good like - Julia Dream, Arnold Layne etc.

Brezhnev took Aghanistan.
Begin took Beirut.
Galtieri took the UnionJack.
And Maggie, over lunch one day,
took a cruiser with all hands.
Apparently, to make him give it back.

I don't mind either of the two, it's the people who downplay their importance in shaping modern rock.

I heard Rodriguo & Gabriela play it at Latitude last year. The whoel crowd was singing. A very special festival moment.

havign said that, and loving the Floyd, may I mention: A Momentary Lapse of Talent. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
And did/does Roger Waters have to be such a wanker?

I think i'm correct in stating that Sid Barrett formed Pink Floyd initially but they booted him after a while because he was pretty much off his tits on sid most of the time. Shine on you crazy diamond was about him. Oh, and by the way, Waters being a bit of a wanker - I concur.

theres not a bad floyd album, from relics to Division Bell,,,but Animals and the Wall are my personal favorites, and Waters is a twat, but all is forgiven for doing Amused to death
