I used to play at redhotpawn. I don't play much standard chess any more but I still play chess variants at brainking.com.
Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it pays no attention to any bird other than the one it has first marked.

I used to play hordes of chess, although it got too repetitive for my taste. And there's only so many moves I can look ahead when I'm drunk.
I was a major back when 1600 was major. Now that I'm back, I get to easily win a bunch of games to get my rank. Thank the 'tards here who suck at this game.

I like playing Chess but am v.v.v. bad at it. My form tutor at school though is a big chess player (his rating is something like 150 for those of you who understand those) and some of his enthusiasm is rubbing off, I'm actually finding that some of it can be really facsinating like the other week he showed a group of us this opening called 'two knights tango' and I found I was really into it. Anyway this is all a bit pointless but jst wanna post something as I'm new to this site (and can't be bothered to do my Economics homework).

I haven't played chess in a long time...Plus most of my friends are dumb  The only one who can play is beating me something like 18 games to 10  He's got a drinking chess board, where the pieces are double shot glasses, so when you take a piece the other player has to down the shot.

Has anyone played cosmic chess? You only get 6 pieces & you can have up to 4 player. You've got to try either take the others out or reach the moon in the centre of the board...
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. Ulysses S. Grant

I am working on it, but i havent had time to do much lately, take a look - click on the link in my sig.
(the link takes you to the first post so click on the "more current" link (at the top of that post) and it will show what i have done so far.)
The concept is also explained in my first post, so read that too.

I cant figure out whether rook was joking or just stupid..

Cramill, I still think your chess map needs more of the essence of playing chess while playing risk involved in it.

Well, if you or anyone else can come up with a good way of how to do that, I may consider it, but I like it how it is.
