Rather just throw up the speed game and set the standard password. If enough folks from this list are around, it'll fill up, if not, well it won't. Will only work if the list gets A LOT longer than it is currently. So sent everyone you know is semi- capable of playing a nice game a link to this thread, and we will have 50/60 people in no time.
Don't think randomly sending pm's to people on this list will work, not only you have no way of knowing whether the person is online or not, but by the time people will have responded to a pm (I miss a new message for days sometimes..), the speedgame might already be dropped.
So just throw up the private speed and hope for enough people around.

I think that shouldn't be the point. If I understood correctly, this list is a mean to ensure no deadbeats/suicide/rude/whatever people get in your games. Playing higher ranks doesn't necessarily mean its gonna be a good game.

sorry that should have set Good higher ranked players.
i like the idea of just throwing up a game but theres got to be a step between through up a private game and getting people to join. if the list gets long you might not recognize who's on the list and if its there game you might miss it.
plus you can check who is online but look at the bottom of the forum index page.

Well I seldomly see private speed games. So if this gets popular enough, people won't have to know each and everyone on that list. It'll be much easier if we have a set password for all speedgames. So if a private speed is up and the creator is a 1800+, it's pretty certain its somebody from that list. See where it goes, carolyn?
